Rainfield Goldendoodles at Work and Play. A word on training…

In our summer travels this year, we noticed more than a few goldendoodles being great travel and vacation buddies. When you meet a dog with good manners, they always stand out. Doodles seem to do really well and are generally very social, but as we like to tell new families, a little early training can go a long way.

A puppy is so cute, it’s hard to find fault with anything they do, but what’s cute at 2 months could be a whole different cup of tea at a year old. A well bred and well socialized puppy has a good head start, which is what we aim do at Rainfield Goldendoodles, The goal is to raise a dog that’s always welcome and interacts with the world around him or her in a positive, well mannered way.

Training classes with your Goldendoodle puppies are a lot of fun. They’re such a fun-loving, smart breed and are generally easy to train. We get a lot of reports back of the doodles quickly becoming the stars of their training classes.

Upcoming Late Summer/Fall Goldendoodle litters

Upcoming Late Summer/Fall Goldendoodle litters

If you’re looking to add a new goldendoodle puppy to your family, we are opening up our waiting list for our late summer F1 litter, and fall F1b litter. Puppies will be ready to go at 8 weeks of age. Coat types will vary.

Our F1 goldendoodle puppies (original mix between poodle and retriever) are generally more shaggy/wavy in coat type and range in color from reddish/apricot to cream or tan.

Our F1b goldendoodle pups (goldendoodle mom and poodle dad) are generally curlier, which is a better option for those with pet allergies as their coats are more hypo-allergenic. The F1b puppies will be cream/apricot colored.

Pictures shown are of past litters to give you an idea of coat type and coloring and just how dang cute these little guys and gals are.

If you are looking to add a goldendoodle puppy to your family this year, our next Goldendoodle litters should be coming later this summer. The mother is a English Golden Retriever and dad is a red standard poodle. Both have excellent temperaments. We expect their pups to be apricot/cream, shaggy style Goldendoodle pups (like the ones in the picture below).

We’re not sure about the timing and details yet on the second litter but it will be a bit latr in the year.  The mom will either be a red retriever or goldendoodle, and dad will be our red standard poodle. We are still deciding. These puppies will be red/apricots with coats that range from curlier to the shaggy type. If you would like to go on our list, we are taking deposits now.
