Looking for Red Gold or Black Goldendoodle Puppies in the Houston area?
Our winter litter is here and we now have a fun mix of red gold and black goldendoodle puppies and even a few parti-doodles available now in the Houston area. These puppies are medium standard sized goldendoodles. We estimate they will range in weight from 40-60 pounds with males being larger and females on the smaller end. .
Parti Goldendoodle Puppies
Curly or Shaggy wavy coats?
Some of the puppies have a curlier coat, which means little to no shedding. Several have more shaggy, wavy coats which means low shed. Goldendoodles in general are lower shed. You will get the outlier from time to time that does shed, but from the feedback we’ve gotten from the puppies from these parents, the puppies have not been shedders. If you have someone who suffers from pet allergies, the curlier coated goldendoodles are generally the safest.

Goldendoodles come in so many colors and coat types, from fluffy and curly to shaggy and wavy and everything in between. These F1bb puppies are just starting to get in their more curly, poodle-like coats.
What are F1bb and F1b Goldendoodles like?
An F1b and F1bb Goldendoodle dog has a goldendoodle parent bred with a poodle. F1b goldendoodle puppies and dogs have a more poodle-like coat so tend to have a thicker, fluffier, curlier coat. F1bb and F1b Goldendoodle puppies and dogs are a good choice if anyone in your family suffers from allergies or if you want a puppy with less shedding. The grooming and overall look for these puppies can be a little different than a shaggy/wavy F1 goldendoodle (the original golden retriever and poodle mix), but they are beautiful dogs with wonderful personalities..

Adopting two goldendoodles at the same time?
We ocassionally get families who want to adopt two goldendoodles, or maybe have a family member or friend who also wants to get one from the same litter. In those cases, let us know as we do offer a discount if you get more than one doodle from the same litter. If you are getting two for yourself, however, we suggest you research it ahead of time and see what is involved in avoiding littermate syndrome. It has been done successfully, but there are a few things you need to plan ahead for and do differently to encourage proper bonding between you and your dogs, etc. Here is a good article on avoiding littermate syndrome.

What to expect when you pick up your doodle?
Our goldendoodles for sale in Houston are home-raised and get lots of love and snuggles and early socialization with children, teenagers, older dogs, cats and more. We spend a lot of time with each puppy and handle them daily. Puppies are eating dry dog kibble by the time they go to their new homes.
Teaching the puppies to chew on chew toys instead of hands or clothing
We get your puppy started with basic manners training, crate training and potty training. They are young, so we can’t say they will come fully trained, but we work with them while they’re with us to give them a good start. We then give you tips on how to continue the training once they go to their new homes.
All our puppies come with their first set of shots, their health record and a 1 year health guarantee. They’ve had their parasite treatment every two weeks as a precaution. They have also had their first vet check up and wellness visit.

Where are we located?
We live in Houston, Texas. Onceyou have a deposit down on a puppy, we would love to have you out to choose your puppy when the puppies are about 5 weeks old.
At this time, we do not allow visitors who are just shopping around or who have not yet put down a deposit. Our puppies are very young and haven’t had all their vaccinations yet, so it’s risky to have too many visitors or people who may be visiting other kennels or breeders. When visiting, we ask that you either remove your shoes or step in a tray with bleach solution to avoid tracking in parvo or other illnesses that could affect our puppies.
What Colors and Coat Types do these puppies have?
Getting to know their little personalities and temperment so we can help you find the best puppy to fit your needs and lifestyle
The pups from this litter are F1 goldendoodle puppies. The pups range from red to apricot in color. Being F1s means that they have a golden retriever parent and a poodle parent. F1 goldendoodle pups generally have a shaggy or wavy coat, although some may have a bit more curl. This type of coat is easier to maintain and groom at home, although you probably want a trip to the groomer before you take those holiday pictures, etc. Their coloring can change as their adult coats come in, but it’s hard to say how much as poodles tend to ligthen as they age and retrievers tend to darken, so it really depends on which genes dominate.
If allergies are an issue in your family, we suggest you look at our F1b puppies as these pups are curlier as they have more poodle in their breeding, and so are more hypo-allergenic. Please click here to see our F1b puppies available.
Early Puppy Training and Socialization
We want our puppies to make great companions. With the appropriate training, our doodles have gone on to make great therapy dogs, service dogs, companions to special needs children and just great all-around family pets.
Part of why our goldendoodles are so versatile is that we give them a great start by limiting how many litters we have per year so we can home-raise our puppies. Being in our home, living room, family room, etc. each puppy gets picked up and handled multiple times daily by our family and close friends, including teemagers and children. This personal attention translates into puppies that are very attentive to their humans and develop close connections.
We start teaching the puppies good manners, start their crate training, potty training and more. We use much of the Puppy Culture and other methods of early socialization. Once the puppies go to their new homes you will need to pick up where we leave off, but also be proactive in getting your puppy trained and developing good habits by enrolling your puppy in training classes as soon as it’s feasible.
This pup is getting some early math training
The first 12-16 weeks in a puppy’s life are crucial as far as socialization, so we give them as much early-socialization and stimulation while they’re still with us by exposing them to new situations and experiences, loud noises, different types and ages of people, as much as possible. Your puppy will have been around children, have ridden in a car, been around our cats, olders dogs, etc. We will give you more information on continuing to socialize your puppy once they go home.
Are you looking to adopt an F1b goldendoodle puppy this holiday season? These cuties are standard size and are going to be curly and cute! We’ve got apricot, reddish apricots, parti-colored and black available.
Coco has been so very good this year!
Although you’d never know it at 3 weeks old, once their fuller coats come in, they should have beautiful, curlier coats. The curlier coated doodles tend to be more hypo-allergenic because they tend to shed less. If anyone in your family suffers from allergies, an F1b is probably the better bet. These F1b goldendoodle puppies will range in weight from 45-65 lbs, so they will be fairly standard size goldendoodles.
When I can pick out my puppy?
Aren’t they perfect little doodle angels?
We allow families who have deposits down on one of our puppies to choose their puppy at about 5 or 6 weeks old. These pups will be ready to be chosen right before Christmas. We do our puppy picks either in-person or by photos and video clips, depending on availability and scheduling.
When are the puppies ready to go home?
Poppy and Buddy get their love of comfort and coziness from their poodle ancestors
Our puppies are ready to go home starting at around 8 weeks. For these pups, their go-home date should be around or shortly after New Years. We send you a letter ahead of the pick up date explaining their schedules, what we’re doing with their potty training and giving you a list of recommended items to have ready before pick up, including what sized crate, etc.

What You can Expect When Getting One of our Puppies
Elfie won’t always be this little
We often get asked if there anything special to know about our doodle puppies when they go to their new homes, and the answer is, “Yes!”
First of all, we will have started crate training your puppy. We recommend all of our puppies be crated or kept in a playyard like this one when unsupervised for the first year to keep them out of trouble and to make potty training easier.
Speaking of potty-training, we have started our F1b goldendoodle puppies on early potty training and will give you tips on how to continue it once they go to their new homes.
Our puppies love their vet check ups
All our puppies have had their parasite and worm treatments every two weeks and their first set of shots before going home. All puppies are susceptible to parvo though at this early age, so we do ask that you keep your puppy away from areas with high pet traffic or where sick dogs may have been, including dog parks, side walks, pet stores, etc. They need a series of three shots at three week intervals, so although they’ve had their first shot, you will need to be careful with them until about 14-16 weeks of age when they are fully vaccinated.
Your puppy will have been seen by our vet to ensure that they are in good overall health, but please take your puppy to your new vet within the first 72 hours of picking them up.
The many colors of F1 Goldendoodle Puppies – red, apricot and blonde
Our winter litters of standard goldendoodle puppies are here. We have two litters, so we have a wonderful mix of colors and coat types. We have a good mix of males and females (at the time of this writing). T
When are these pups ready to go home?
Pups from these litters are ready to go home in early January. Families will be able to pick out their puppies before Christmas. That way you know which puppy you will be taking home, but won’t have to worry about finding pet sitting or taking the new puppy along with you as you go visiting for Christmas and New Years.
Sweet dreams!
What Pick Will You Have?
Your pick number is determined when we get your deposit. We ask that you let us know your preference for male or female and which litter you are interested in when you make your deposit. Once we get your deposit, we will confirm what spot your have on our list.
Goldendoodle Mix, Colors and Coat types
Curly and cute!
We have a litter of standard F1b goldendoodle puppies and a litter of standard F1 Goldendoodle pups.
The F1b puppies (pictured to the left) have a poodle parent and a goldendoodle parent, so are more poodle-like in appearance and temperment. This litter has a fun mix of reds, apricots, partis, and black. These pups are expected to be pretty curly/fluffy as they are 3/4 poodle. If you want a dog that sheds less and is more hypoallergenic, an F1b is a good bet.
Two weeks old and already walking, eyes are open and… they just learned to growl. Next step – barking practice
The F1 goldendoodle puppies (pictured on the right) have more of that typical goldendoodle look with their shaggy wavy coats. These F1 goldendoodle puppies are apricots, reds and a few blondes. This goldendoodle mix has one golden retriever parent and a poodle parent, so they have a pretty good mix between poodle traits and golden retriever traits. They are generally low-shed, but may shed a little more than the F1bs.
Their Full Grown Size:
These puppies will be standard sized. The parents are between 45 to 80 pounds, so puppies will be in that range with males typically being on the larger side and females on the smaller.
