Minnie is a is curly and cute with some white markings, This little girl is a fast learner. She’s been the star of our early training program and already has the basic commands down, which she will (hopefully) be happy to show off to you when you visit. This fuzzy sweetheart has a fun, playful and affectionate personality and gets along well with other pets, children and animals. Minnie is well-mannered and listens well. WIth her sweet temperment, Minnie would be a good fit for therapy work or jobs that involve learning special skills.

Winnie is the princess in the bunch. She has got a very balanced personality – outgoing, yet polite, playful and curious, yet with a gentle, laid back side too. A Glimpse Into the Early Days with a Goldendoodle Puppy
We love getting updates and feedback from our goldendoodle families and what it’s like in the early days with a goldendoodle puppy. Christy and her family recently adopted a little female goldendoodle pup, who they have now called Lily. We highlighted Lily’s sweet gotcha story in a previous post. We have since gotten several more updates from Christy. I thought it would be helpful to some of our new goldendoodle families to hear another family’s experience and how they handled the early days with a goldendoodle puppy.
Each puppy is their own little personality and each one handles going to their new homes differently. For some they don’t bat an eye as they slip into their new routines and surroundings. For others, it might take a day or two to adjust. Once they do settle in and find their place, you’ll wonder what you ever did without them. 🙂

Lily has got the whole travel business down pat
Lily was whining a lot through the night last night. We thought maybe she was having a regression. But when we went to take the kids to school, there were helicopters hovering near our house. Apparently there was an apartment fire one neighborhood over since 3am! Since it was only 0.2 miles away, we think that Lily may have heard the commotion or even smelled the smoke!! She is already working hard at alerting us to danger overnight.

She is such a smart girl! We have been working on sit, and she does it immediately and even when running up to my daughter. She is definitely feeling more at home and getting into everything, so we are working on setting some boundaries and teaching her how to control her energy and that puppy chewing. We took her on her first carpool pickup today (she sat in Dad’s seat, haha) and she did great! She did have some diarrhea today, but I just gave her the stuff (probiotics) you showed me and hopefully she will be better soon. Her vet said she looks great yesterday!

That’s it for now! Everyone loves her so much. I can really see the work you’ve put into her so far, and it has made a world of difference in us managing the work of a puppy and keeping up with her trainings.

These cuties are F1b goldendoodles who will grow to be about 45-55 lbs full grown. Two have curlier coats and two have more the shaggy/wavy coats. We have three males and one female. All have started crate training and are sleeping on their own at night in their crates. They are getting early potty training and are making good progress.

Pricing for A Puppy
The price for one of our goldendoodle puppies is $1850, plus tax. If you are a second-time Rainfield Goldendoodle buyer, or if you are in the Military, a Vet or a First Responder, we give a 10% discount. If you see a puppy you really like and can’t come out right away to pick them up, you can reserve a puppy by putting down a $350 deposit that gets applied to the total price. The balance is due at pickup.

What We Learn By Observing our Goldendoodle Pups at Play…
The pups are having fun and we get to not only play with them and get lots of doodle kisses and hugs, but we also get to see a little better who they are and what makes these little cuties tick! Are they extra playful and like to start all the games and check out the new toys?

Are they quieter and more relaxed, liking to join in for a bit and then retreating to their favorite spot on the dog cot? Which puppy is the water lover?
Emma and Summer — can you tell which one is the water lover and who likes to keep her coat pretty?
Who comes up to us and loves getting more snuggles and giving kisses? Which one are more cautious — noticing that new box with doorways cut in, but waiting for the more adventurous one to go first — just to make sure it’s safe? And, yes, there are the adventurous and curious ones who will are the jump first, ask later types. Some love stuffy toys, others like the squeaky ones or chew toys.
Nemo carried around his favorite stuffy today! And, yes, it needed to go in the wash afterwards.
